At the North American Society for the Sociology of Sport conference we took part in the roundtable discussion regarding elite experiences of hockey amongst Indigenous players. We also discussed raising awareness, creating the conversations, educating, and taking action to make this gap smaller and smaller for our Indigenous Youth.
